01. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By booking a vehicle, placing an enquiry, or using the services of ShreeShyam Trucks Pvt. Ltd. ("ShreeShyam Trucks," "we," "our," or "the Company"), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.
These Terms apply to all shippers, consignees, brokers, and logistics partners engaging with our services. We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time; the latest version will always appear on this page.
02. SERVICES OFFERED
ShreeShyam Trucks provides road freight and logistics services including:
- Full Truck Load (FTL) β dedicated vehicle for single shipper
- Part Truck Load (PTL) β consolidated freight for smaller loads
- Industrial and heavy cargo haulage using flatbed and multi-axle vehicles
- Reefer and cold chain transport for temperature-sensitive goods
- Liquid bulk tanker transport for chemicals, oils, and food-grade liquids
- Dedicated fleet contracts for businesses with recurring transport needs
All services are subject to vehicle availability, route feasibility, and regulatory compliance. We operate within the purview of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and applicable state transport regulations.
03. BOOKING & CONFIRMATION
A booking is considered confirmed only upon written confirmation from ShreeShyam Trucks via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or formal Lorry Receipt (LR). Verbal bookings are not binding.
- Pickup date and time are subject to vehicle and driver availability
- The shipper is responsible for ensuring cargo is ready at the confirmed pickup time
- Delays in cargo readiness beyond 2 hours of confirmed pickup time may attract a detention charge
- Route, vehicle type, and transit time estimates are indicative and not guaranteed
04. FREIGHT CHARGES
Freight rates are quoted based on route, cargo weight/volume, vehicle type, and current fuel rates. All quoted rates are exclusive of GST (18%) unless stated otherwise.
- Rates are subject to change with fuel price revisions or highway toll changes
- Detention charges apply for loading/unloading beyond 2 hours at either end
- Over-dimensional cargo (ODC) attracts special rates and requires prior written approval
- Advance payment or credit terms as agreed in writing with the operations team
- Disputed freight bills must be raised within 7 days of invoice date
05. CARGO CONDITIONS
The shipper is solely responsible for the accurate declaration of cargo type, weight, dimensions, and value. ShreeShyam Trucks reserves the right to inspect and refuse cargo that:
- Is undeclared, misdeclared, or prohibited under law
- Contains hazardous materials without proper documentation and MSDS sheets
- Exceeds the legal axle load limits prescribed by the Motor Vehicles Act
- Is improperly packed or inadequately secured for road transport
β οΈ Any penalties, fines, or vehicle seizure arising from misdeclared cargo weight, hazardous material violations, or overloading shall be borne entirely by the shipper.
06. LIABILITY & CLAIMS
ShreeShyam Trucks' liability for cargo loss or damage is limited to the insured value of goods where transit insurance is in place, or βΉ10,000 per consignment where no insurance has been arranged.
- Damage claims must be reported in writing with photographic evidence within 48 hours of delivery
- ShreeShyam Trucks is not liable for loss arising from acts of God, theft at the consignee's premises, or shipper's negligent packaging
- Claims for delay are not entertained unless a guaranteed delivery date was agreed in writing
- Indirect or consequential losses are excluded from our liability under all circumstances
07. TRANSIT INSURANCE
Transit insurance is strongly recommended for all high-value shipments. ShreeShyam Trucks can arrange transit insurance on your behalf at an additional premium, or you may arrange your own coverage.
- Insurance must be arranged before vehicle departure β no retrospective coverage is possible
- The declared cargo value must be accurate; undervaluation may result in partial claim settlement
- Claims are between the shipper and the insurance provider; ShreeShyam Trucks assists in documentation only
08. CANCELLATION POLICY
Bookings may be cancelled subject to the following charges:
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before pickup: No charge
- Cancellation 12β24 hours before pickup: 10% of agreed freight rate
- Cancellation less than 12 hours before pickup: 25% of agreed freight rate
- Vehicle reached at pickup and cargo refused: 50% of agreed freight rate + return trip cost
09. FORCE MAJEURE
ShreeShyam Trucks shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, floods, road blockages, curfew, bandh, strikes, government orders, highway accidents, or vehicle breakdown.
In such events, we will make every reasonable effort to notify the shipper promptly and arrange alternative vehicles where possible.
10. CONTRACT CLIENTS
Businesses on dedicated fleet or annual rate contracts are governed by a separate Contract Agreement in addition to these Terms. Key obligations include:
- Minimum monthly tonnage commitment as specified in the contract
- 30-day written notice required to terminate an annual rate contract
- Price revisions permitted quarterly based on diesel price index
- Priority vehicle allocation guaranteed for contracted routes
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any disputes arising from our transport services shall be governed by the laws of India, including the Carriage by Road Act, 2007, and the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Jurisdiction shall be the courts of Rajkot, Gujarat.
